Tannat from Bodegas El Porvenir in the high-altitude Cafayate Valley of Salta, Argentina. The nose offers rich aromas of raspberry, plum, blackberry, blackcurrant and rose petal, with notes of white pepper, menthol and eucalyptus. Full-bodied and structured on the palate with flavours of ripe blackberry, plum and herbs, the tannins are notably soft and smooth for this varietal, leading to a long and satisfying finish.
