Madre Mezcal Espadin is crafted from 70% maguey Espadin and 30% maguey Cuishe, roasted in an earthen pit and fermented with well water and wild yeast in the family's mountain air. It presents a hint of smoke with sweet vanilla and citrus on the nose, followed by an earthy, bright palate of soapstone, sweet grass, and fresh citrus, finishing with sage, earth, minerals, and a lingering floral note.
