Lagavulin 8 Year Old is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky matured in refill American oak barrels and bottled at 48% ABV. Released to commemorate the distillery's 200th anniversary, the nose presents salted caramel, honeysuckle, sea spray, and intense phenolic peat. The palate delivers earthy peat, sea salt, and caramel with peppery spice, finishing long and smoky with dry charcoal and oak.
