Lagavulin 16 Year Old is the benchmark Islay single malt, distilled on the south shore of Islay and matured for sixteen years. Deeply peated and richly flavoured, it opens with dense peat smoke, iodine, and seaweed over a sweet, sherried core. The palate is full and powerful — smoke, dried fruit, and a hint of brine — leading to one of the longest, warming finishes in Scotch. 43% ABV, 750 mL.
