Kilchoman Sanaig is an Islay single malt named after a rugged Atlantic inlet on the island's west coast. Peated to 50ppm and vatted from a high proportion of Oloroso sherry casks with bourbon casks, it balances rich dried fruit with classic coastal peat smoke. The nose delivers heather, raisin, orange peel, and stone fruit. The palate brings overripe plum, red cherry, barbeque peat smoke, dark chocolate, and toffee. The finish is long and warming with brown sugar and smoke. 46% ABV, non-chill filtered.
