The Glenlivet 15 Year Old French Oak Reserve is matured in new French Limousin oak barrels—the same wood used for Cognac—bottled at 40% ABV. The nose presents spiced oak, cloves, nougat, and cinnamon with sherry sweetness. The palate is rich and creamy with honey, vanilla, almond, orange, and plum, finishing long with dry oak, pepper, and lingering honey sweetness.
