Arbutus Amaro is a bittersweet herbal liqueur crafted at Arbutus Distillery on Vancouver Island, BC. Winner of Gold Medal and Best in Class at the 2021 Canadian Artisan Spirit Awards, it is made with gentian, Oregon grape root, and salal berries at 28% ABV. The palate leads with bittersweet, tannic salal berry, flows through a complex bitter botanical backbone, and finishes with a gorgeous medley of sweet salal and herbal bitterness.
